Apr 13. Day 103 - Pay Attention unto the Lord. Proverbs 4:20-23*

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”  (Proverbs 4:20-23)

Welcome to another daily prayer. Prayer works. Keep on praying and listen closely to what the Lord is saying. "My son, I urge you to truly listen to my words and give them your full attention; allow them to resonate deeply within you. Keep these teachings ever-present in your mind and treasure them in your heart, for they offer profound wisdom and guidance to those who seek them. They serve as nourishment for the spirit and promote well-being for your entire being. Above all else, protect your heart with great care, for it is the wellspring of your thoughts, actions, and ultimately, the very essence of you.”

Good morning, everyone. I hope your day is off to a great and wonderful start. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast.
 
Remember, I am your host. I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. God is good, and He has great things in store for us. 

As we pray, let us pay attention to Him so that His will can be accomplished in our lives. We can see what God has done when we pay attention to Him.  

Our scripture today will be taken from Proverbs 4:20-23. And it reads, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
 
Today, God is saying to us, our health, our life, our direction, everything we have flows from him when we pay attention to what he's saying to us. 

So today we are praying that God will move in your life, heal, deliver, and set all of us free because he's a good God.
 
Today, I want to remind you that God is listening to your call. He's paying attention to his people. So, pray and believe that what God said will come to pass. Because with God, all things are possible. 

Let us pray

Dear Heavenly Father, our wonderful God, our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords, our Savior, our Redeemer, Father, we thank you for this day.
 
We thank you for your grace and your mercy. We thank you for not giving up on us, even though sometimes we give up on you. We thank you, Lord God, for not letting go, but reminding us that you are a great God. And Lord God, you want us to seek your direction. You want to deliver us. You want to guide us.”
 
Lord God, you're encouraging us to remember your word. And you are saying to us, your word is instructing us to pay attention to you, to pay attention to what you are desiring us to accomplish. Oh God, many times we're not paying attention. We are not turning to you as we should. But God, you're reminding us today in your word that we should turn our ears to you, turn our hearts to you, keep our attention focused on you, and keep our minds stayed on you. Because you want us to hear your voice. You want us to pay attention to what you are saying to us. 

God, today as we pray, we are hoping in our hearts to you. And we are asking you, Father God, to help us to pay attention to your word. Help us to surrender to you so you can teach us. Teach us how to be more like you. Teach us how to become the people of God you're destined for us to become. Teach us how to be holy, because you are holy. 

Father God, we are praying and asking you for help. We want to listen to you. We want to pay attention to you. We want to become the people of God you're destined for us to become. We want to be holy because you are holy. We want to live right because you are right. We don't want to get caught up in the things of this world, which will cause us to lose focus on the most holy and mighty God that we serve. We don't want to get caught up in things that will distract us from righteousness.
 
Lord God, here we are before you. Touch our hearts, touch our minds, touch our souls. Help us to see what you have done for us. Help us to see your power move in our lives. Help us to see your greatness, to see your power. Oh, Lord God, help us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed.
 
Lord God, we are asking you, do not let words and issues of this life distract us from you, separate us from you. God, help our words to be more like you. Help us to be more like you. Help the plan that we have, our plan for our lives, be the plan that you have for us. 

Lord, we are praying and surrendering to you. Encourage our heart, encourage our mind, encourage everything in us so that we can flow like rivers of water in the direction you want us to flow, so we can pray earnestly. We can pray each day with strength. 

Lord God, we know that you are a protector. You will protect us from danger seen and unseen. You will guard our hearts. You will lead us in the path that's right, and not the path that will drift us away from you.
 
God, we are thanking you for your power, thanking you for your reminders. Thank you, Lord God, for filling our hearts. God, we trust that we can trust you, depend upon you, and see your work take place in our lives. Thank you for reminding us that we should not let the things of this world distract us from you. We should not let our hearts drift away from you. We should not let everything of this world separate us from you.
 
God, you say, when we humble ourselves, when we pay attention to you, you say, you will send your healing power throughout our lives. You say you will heal us, God, in ways we never thought possible. And Lord God, we thank you for healing. We thank you for your mighty move in our lives. 

Lord God, you see everyone who is listening to this prayer; you see every pain, every suffering, every sickness moving through your people throughout the world. Oh God, above all things, we want our hearts and our minds to focus on you, no matter what the world throws our way.
 
God, purge each and every one of us from the crown of our head to the soles of our feet. Remove every distraction, remove every sin, remove every pain, remove every suffering, remove every sickness, remove every doubt, and let your will come to pass in our lives. Let your will take control of our lives. Let your will move us to the level that we ought to be in you. 

God, we give you thanks, and we praise your holy name, and we glorify you, for this moment to pray. Thank you for reminding us to pay attention to you.
 
God, what we truly desire has come to pass when we see what you are doing in our lives. Thank you, Lord. In your wonderful name, we pray…Amen.
