Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Jeremiah 17:14, and it reads: “Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14)
Today, let us keep on praying and ask the Lord to heal us from all sickness and suffering. The Lord promises to rescue us from our struggles, so we can find salvation, for it is he alone who inspires our praise and admiration.
Today, as we pray, let us reflect on the power of God's healing. Knowing that he can heal, save, and give us peace. So, let us trust him, surrender to him, and let his will be accomplished in our lives.
Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Redeemer, we come before you with our hearts bowed in reverence and lifted in gratitude. We acknowledge your greatness, your sovereignty, and your unfailing love toward us. You are the one who heals, restores, redeems, and sustains us.
Father, as we gather in prayer, we cling to your Word, “Heal us, O Lord, and we shall be healed; save us, and we shall be saved, for You are the One we praise.” Lord, we are seeking your healing touch. Please remove every barrier that separates us from your presence, fear, doubt, discouragement, sin, and despair. Lord, wash us anew and fill us with your Spirit of peace, joy, and restoration.
Lord, remove those who are burdened by illness, those lying in hospital beds, those struggling at home, those receiving complex identities, and those whose bodies are weary from long battles. Father, we are praying for the healing of every cell, every organ, every tissue. Let your healing power flow through our veins, bringing strength where there is weakness, energy where there is fatigue, and peace where there is anxiety.
Lord, we also bring before you those who are suffering emotionally. You see the broken hearts, the anxious minds, and the ones weighed down by depression or grief. You know the silent tears that fall in the night and the unspoken cries of pain. Father, comfort each and every one of us with the assurance of your nearness. Lift the heaviness that rests on your people, replace sorrow with joy, and bring clarity where there is confusion. Lord, remind us daily that we are not alone, that you are with us through the valleys, and that your rod and your staff will comfort us.
Father, we are also interceding for your spiritual healing. Many have grown weary in their faith, distant in their walk, or burdened by guilt and shame. Lord, draw each one back to you with cords of love. Rekindle the fire of devotion within our hearts. Restore our hope, renew our minds, and strengthen our faith. Help us to find joy in your presence and freedom in your forgiveness.
Lord, we pray not only for individual healing but also for the healing of families and communities. Heal relationships between parents and children, between husbands and wives, and between friends and neighbors. Pour out your spirit of reconciliation and peace upon each and every one of us. Where there have been bitter words, replace them with kindness; where there has been distance, bridge it with love; where there has been bitterness, wash it away with forgiveness.
Father, send healing throughout the world. Nations are hurting. There are wars, violence, injustice, and suffering. Lord, please stretch forth your hand of mercy and bring peace where there is conflict, hope where there is despair, and provision where there is absence. Give our leaders wisdom and humility. Unite us as one with your grace.
Lord, each day, help us not to grow weary. Remind us that healing is not always instant, and restoration may take time, but your timing is perfect. Give us the patience to trust the process, the faith to cling to your promises, and the hope to keep pressing forward. Let every obstacle be a frame for a greater testimony of your goodness.
Father, strengthen those who are caregivers; strengthen the doctors, strengthen the nurses, strengthen the soldiers, strengthen the offices, strengthen the judges, and everyone who is tirelessly serving others. Renew our strength, bless our hands, and encourage our hearts. Help us to be instruments of your healing and vessels of your compassion.
Lord, we surrender ourselves completely to you, our minds, our bodies, our souls, our spirits. We lay down every burden, every fear, every need at your feet. Lord, please surround us with your comfort, cover us with your peace, and remind us daily of your unfailing love.
Lord, as we go through this day, we are resting in your assurance because you promised that “When You heal us, we are truly healed. In Your salvation, we will find our restoration.” We are holding on to this truth for ourselves, our families, and for all those we have lifted to you.
We give you all the glory, honor, and praise, because you alone are worthy. And we pray all in the powerful, healing, and saving name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…Amen.
Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
