Welcome to another episode of the EBC's Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Mark 10:27, and it reads: “Jesus looked and said, 'With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

The Lord is reminding us that in life, many things may seem impossible, but when it comes to God, nothing is impossible.

Let us have faith, during our prayer, for with God, all things are possible, and he holds the power to transform the impossible into reality.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, our God, and our Savior. Father, we come before you with our hearts overflowing with gratitude for the precious gift of prayer. Thank you for granting us this sacred privilege to engage in intimate conversation with you, to pour out our deepest thoughts and emotions, and to be reminded that you are ever-present, a loving companion through all of life’s trials. We humbly acknowledge your supreme greatness and majesty, for you are the eternal one, the one who was, who is, and who is yet to come.

Lord, thank you for the powerful reassurance that “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Many of us find ourselves standing at the edge of overwhelming situations that feel impossibly heavy. Some of us are weary from relentless striving; others are lost and confused, unsure of the next step to take. Many carry wounds that have lingered far longer than what we anticipated. Yet, we rest in the knowledge that you see each of us, you understand our limitations, and with compassionate eyes, you don’t turn away. Instead, you are reminding us that our circumstances do not define our future, for you are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, there are moments when our understanding feels limited, our strength seems inadequate, and our faith is put to the test. When we measure our own capabilities, we recognize that they often fall short. Please help us surrender fully to you and release the need to control every outcome and the urge to solve everything through our own strength. Lord, teach us not to push ourselves until we are utterly drained. Help us to come before you, laying our burdens at your feet, yearning for your guidance. Teach us to trust deeply in you, and to believe that your power surpasses our fears.

Lord, we entrust everything into your capable hands. The situations in our lives that feel hopeless, the relationships that appear fractured, the fervent prayers that seem to bring no change, and the doors that seem repeatedly closed. Where there are walls, help us to see pathways through them. Where we recognize an ending, inform us of new beginnings. In moments of weakness, grant us the wisdom to recognize your supreme strength as we move forward.

Lord, move in our lives in transformative ways only you can arrange. Reach into hardened hearts to soften them, calm overwhelmed minds, rejuvenate weary or sick bodies, and get involved in circumstances that appear impossible. Lord, we are also lifting everyone who is praying. You see those facing financial difficulties, open doors of provision, and bless the works of their hands with abundance. For those mourning loss, surround them with your love and encourage them in their sorrow.

Lord, help us release the harnesses of control. Teach us to stop carrying burdens that were never intended for us to carry. Replace our anxieties with peace and fill our spirits with the light of hope. Strengthen those who are exhausted and surround those who are grieving and remind them that you are close to everyone.

Lord, empower us to be beacons of light for others in times of need. Deepen our trust in you, strengthen our faith, and instill in us a belief in miracles. May our lives be living testaments of your faithfulness, your boundless ability, and the promise that you will never abandon your children.

Lord, as we close this prayer, we do so with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that you have heard us and that your plans for us are good. We trust in your perfect timing, we lean on your divine will, and we find support in the assurance that you are always in control.

In the mighty, precious, and victorious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…Amen.

Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
