Welcome to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from John 7:38, and it reads, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Lord, as we pray, let us have faith in your power. For you are reminding us that deep within us is a source of hope and strength which will emerge. From the depths of our souls will flow streams of living water, life-giving spirit that nourishes and sustains us.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with open hearts and open spirits. Thank you for this opportunity to pray and for the incredible gift of salvation. You are the source of life, the giver of peace, and the one who sees us fully and loves us completely.

Lord Jesus, you said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Help us to hold onto these words with reverence and gratitude. Help us to believe in you, with our hearts, our souls, and our minds. Help us to believe that you are faithful to your promises and that your word is alive and active.

Father, please examine our hearts. You know where our faith feels strong and where it feels fragile. You know the places where fear has crowded out trust, where tiredness has dulled our hope, and where disappointment has caused us to pull back. Help us to bring all of this to you without pretending, because you already see everything. Meet us where we are, and help us believe again, even in the places that feel dry or uncertain.

Lord, out of our belly shall flow rivers of living water. This is your Holy Ghost that you are pouring into our lives, so that your presence can be inside of us. Lord, those who are filled, refill us. Those who don't have hope or trust in you, give us the power to hope and trust in you, to believe you, to take you at your word, because you are the source of the Holy Spirit. You are eternal life. You understand everything that you have in store for us. help us to believe in the power of the Holy Ghost, because out of our belly, out of the issues of life, will flow your living water inside of us.

Lord, you promise living water, not stationary water, not temporary relief, but rivers that flow continuously. We are praying and asking you to please pour this living water into our souls now. Let it reach the deepest parts of our lives, the places that have been wounded, overlooked, or ignored. Wash over our thoughts, our emotions, our memories, and our desires. Cleanse what needs healing and soften what has grown hard. Where there has been heaviness, bring softness. Where there has been sorrow, bring comfort. Where there has been confusion, bring clarity and peace.

God, help us to turn to you completely. Sometimes we try to carry life on our own strength. Sometimes we try to fix, control, or endure without fully leaning on you. Forgive us for the times we have relied more on our understanding than on your wisdom. Teach us again what it means to trust you completely. Help us to surrender not just our struggles, but also our plans, our timelines, and our expectations. Remind us that your ways are higher, your timing is perfect, and your love is unwavering.

Lord Jesus, let the rivers of living water flow from within us, just as you promised. Let your Spirit move freely in our lives, not blocked by fear, resentment, or pride. Let your presence overflow into our words, our actions, and our relationships. When others encounter us, let them see your love. Make us vessels of grace, kindness, patience, and truth.

Father, give us the strength we need to persevere. The strength we need to trust you. Lord, we need rivers of living water in our souls. We need joy in our souls. Too much anger, too much oppression, too much depression, too much sadness, too many things have drifted us away from you. Where our belly will flow rivers of living waters.

Father, remember those areas of our lives that feel empty or diminished. We name them before you now, trusting that you are listening. Remove emotional fatigue, spiritual dryness, physical weariness, and grief, and fill us with your presence. Renew our strength. Refresh our spirits. Help us remember that your living water is a gift, freely given to those who believe.

Lord, remove everything in our lives that prevents us from growing, everything that prevents us from living righteously, everything that prevents us from serving you, everything that prevents us from being the people of God, you call us to be.

Lord, have mercy on those around us who are thirsty for hope. Use us as channels of your love. Give us sensitivity to know when to speak and when to listen. Give us compassion that reflects your love. Let the rivers flowing within us bring encouragement, healing, and reassurance to those who feel forgotten.

Father, teach us to remain connected to you daily, not only in moments of need, but in moments of gratitude and joy. Help us to return to you in prayer, and let our faith grow deeper roots so that when storms come, we are not shaken. Help us to be grounded in your truth and strengthened by your presence.

Lord Jesus, thank you for being the source of living water. Thank you that your Spirit does not run dry, that your love does not fade, and that your mercy is new every morning. We receive your promise with humility and trust. We believe that what you have spoken will come to pass. Continue to shape us, guide us, and fill us, so that our lives can reflect your glory.

Lord, we rest in your presence, grateful, surrendered, and hopeful. We believe in you, and we trust that from within us will flow rivers of living water, bringing life wherever you lead us. Amen.

Everyone, please have a blessed day, and we will pray again tomorrow, by God’s grace.
