“Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6)
Welcome to another daily prayer. Pray with a spirit of praise. God requests everyone to honor and praise Him. “Let every living being that draws breath join in the chorus of gratitude and adoration for the Creator. Let us all lift our voices in praise and honor, for He who gives life is deserving of our highest celebration. Praise ye the Lord, the source of all goodness and grace.”
Good morning, everyone! Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is April 10th, marking the 100th day of the year. Let's give God thanks for another day and another moment to celebrate his goodness.
I’m your host, Dr. Victoria Haddad, the First Lady and Prayer Leader at Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in Salem, New Jersey. Thank you for taking the time to gather with us during our prayer.
As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We started in Genesis and will close in the book of Revelation by the end of the year.
Today, we are delving deeper into the book of Psalms. Our scripture will be taken from Psalm 150:6, which reads: “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
Lord, as we pray, instill in our hearts a desire for praise. Help us to give you thanks for all that you have done for us.
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father. Our Amazing and Glorious Savior.
Father, “let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
We come before you with our hearts lifted high in gratitude and thanks. Lord, you are our refuge and our deliverer. Your love is unfailing, your grace and your mercies are new every morning.
Lord, teach us to come before you not only when our tears fall heavy with need and supplication, but also when our hearts overflow with joy. Teach us to meet you not only in moments of brokenness, but also in moments of celebration, singing songs of thanksgiving, and remembering that all good and perfect gifts come from you.
Lord, we acknowledge that every inhale is a gift, every exhale a reminder that we live only because you have ordained it so. Let our breath itself be praise unto you, a living offering of gratitude for your sustaining power.
Father, as we raise our voices in prayer today, help us to offer not just words but the sincerest praises and deepest worship of our hearts. May we recognize that you alone are worthy of glory, honor, and majesty. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. What a wonder that the Almighty God knows each of us by name, hears each cry of our hearts, and gathers every tear and joy.
Lord, we often come to you with our needs first, asking for your hand to move in our situations, but today, help us to acknowledge who you are. You are the God who parted the seas, who calms the storm, who heals the brokenhearted, who gives sight to the blind, and who breathes life into dry bones. You are a Lord who is willing, and we can rest secure and surrender fully to you.
Lord, we thank you for the blessings both seen and unseen. We thank you for the roof over our heads, We thank you for the food on our tables, We thank you for the health in our bodies, and the strength to rise each day. We thank you for family and friends, We thank you for moments of laughter, We thank you for the lessons hidden even in pain. We thank you for protecting us from dangers we never knew, We thank you for guiding us along paths we did not understand, and We thank you for keeping us in your care when we did not even know to ask.
Lord, remember those who are praying or reading this prayer, remember those who feel unseen or forgotten. Remind us each day that we are precious in your sight. Lord, pour your mercy upon us. Let your healing flow like rivers throughout our lives, for you are the God who restores.
Lord, we close this prayer not only asking, but praising. Not only seeking, but trusting. Not only crying, but rejoicing. Because you, Lord, are faithful yesterday, today, and forever.
We love you, Lord, and we give you all the glory.
In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray… Amen.
Everyone. Keep on praying, keep on trusting God. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
