Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Today is a wonderful reminder of the blessings the Lord is bestowing upon us each new day.

As mentioned earlier, our prayers throughout the year will be taken from the 66 books of the Bible. We begin in Genesis and will conclude in the book of Revelation.

Today, we are diving into the book of Ecclesiastes, and our scripture will be taken from Ecclesiastes 3:10-11, which reads: “I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God does from the beginning to the end.”

The Lord is showering us with miraculous blessings that we cannot even comprehend. He is making everything in our lives beautiful. In His divine timing, He has crafted everything with beauty and purpose. As we pray, let us remember that the Lord is instilling within our hearts a limitless desire to understand the world, leaving us with a curiosity about the involvement and mysterious work that He has been performing from the very beginning and will continue until the end of time.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Merciful God and Joyful Savior.

Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, humbled by your majesty and lifted by your love. Thank you for another opportunity to pray and surrender to you.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that we “have seen the travail, which you, God, hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. You have made everything beautiful in your timing: also you have set the world in our heart so that no man can find out the work that you, God, do from the beginning to the end.”

Father, today, we are praying and marveling at your words. Thank you for writing eternity into our hearts, giving us previews of your divine handiwork, while leaving much of your mystery hidden. We do not always understand the seasons you place us in, but we cling to the promise that all things, in your perfect timing, will be made beautiful.

Lord, help us to trust your timing. When we grow weary in waiting, when our faith feels stretched thin, remind us that you are working everything for our good. Teach us to release our worries into your hands, to loosen our control on what we cannot control, and to find rest in your power. Help us to see the beauty within our families, among friends, and within the fellowship of believers. Most importantly, help us to never lose sight of the beauty of our relationship with you, the creator who knows us better than we know ourselves.

Father, we acknowledge that life brings travail, burdens, and heartaches. There are times when the weight of our struggles presses heavily upon us. But even in these seasons, you are with us. Your mercy sustains us, and your grace lifts us up when we stumble. Lord, let your peace surround us like a shield. Send us healing and strength.

Father, help us to cultivate hearts of gratitude. Teach us to recognize your blessings. Let us never take you for granted.

Lord, build in us patience to endure trials and accept your will. May our lives reflect you in all that we do.

Lord, thank you for reminding us that we have seen the travail, which you, God, hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. You have made everything beautiful in your timing because you have great plans in store for us.  God, you have also set the world in our hearts because none of us can thoroughly find out the work that you, God, do from the beginning to the end. You are marvelous, and you are wonderful. Lord, help us not to limit you because we can see your blessing flowing like rivers in our lives, so that we cannot even comprehend why you are pouring so many blessings upon us.

Father, we are praying and thanking you for all that you have in store. Help us to leave this time of prayer with renewed spirit, hope, and renewed joy. Help us to thank you for the blessings you are going to shower upon us today.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray…Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
