Welcome to another episode of EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Jeremiah 11:18, which reads: “And the Lord hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shrewdest me their doings.”
The Lord is giving us knowledge and vision of what will take place in our lives. And the Lord has bestowed upon us a profound understanding of the doings of others, revealing their truths to our hearts and highlighting the moment of revelation, where the Lord imparts understanding to the speaker.
Understanding others' actions can lead to deeper insights into human behavior, morality, and the consequences of one's actions. In this revelation, we have come to understand the complexities of our actions and intentions, and we are now compelled to share the wisdom we have gained about our deeds with others.
As we pray, let us reflect on how we can use the knowledge granted to us and how it can shape our views and interactions with those around us.
Dear Heavenly Father, our Lord, our God, and our Redeemer. Father, as we gather in this moment of prayer, laying our hearts before you, and seeking comfort from the weight of our burdens. Lord, life often feels like a tempest, with trials that seem overwhelming and a world that appears increasingly hectic. But, in the midst of this uncertainty, we are grateful for your unwavering presence. You are reminding us that we are never alone; in times of distress, you stand as our refuge, peace, and safety. You are providing strength when we feel weak, and grounding us in love and hope, even when the storms of life rage around us.
Lord, we acknowledge that you see and know all things. You reveal what is hidden, you uncover what the enemy plots in secret, and you bring truth into the light. Today, we are praying and trusting you to reveal every issue of darkness and to shield us from the traps laid before us. Help us to rejoice in your freedom, knowing that nothing formed against us will prosper.
Lord, you promise us a peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that calms the storms of our lives and quiets the tumult within us. We are earnestly seeking that peace now, asking you to stabilize our hearts and minds with your assurance. Help us not to be burdened by moments of anxiety that weigh us down and fears that are woven into the fabric of our lives. Help us to lay all our burdens at your feet. In the midst of life's trials and tribulations, help us not to be overwhelmed by disappointment and uncertainty. Help us to rise above the issues of our circumstances and the confusion that sometimes clouds our judgment.
Lord, silence the noise that rages within us, the doubts and worries that disrupt our focus on you. Replace them with your love and allow us to trust in your plan for our lives, even when the path is unclear. Help us to lay our fears before you, confident that you will provide us with the strength and serenity we desperately need.
Lord, help us to see clearly when the path is uncertain, to distinguish between truth and deception, and to hear your voice above all others. Give us the strength to walk this journey with courage and perseverance. Grant us wisdom to make choices aligned with your will and humility to surrender when we do not understand your ways. Teach us to lean not on our own understanding but to trust in you with all our hearts. When the road becomes steep and the obstacles seem too great, remind us that your grace is sufficient and your power is made perfect in our weakness.
Lord, protect us from pride, and keep us grounded in humility so that we can remain teachable, open to your correction, and eager to walk in righteousness. Lord, we also bring before you those who harbor ill intentions toward us. While our hearts may be tempted to respond with anger or bitterness, help us to entrust them into your hands. You are a just God, and you will bring every deed into account. Protect us from harm, and soften our hearts so that we can forgive, releasing every offense and allowing your love to flow freely within us.
Father, remember our families and everyone related to us. Surround us with your divine protection. Place a hedge of safety around us. Strengthen our faith, comfort our hearts, and provide for our needs. Lord, thank you for your goodness, your mercy, and your unfailing love that meet us every morning. Thank you for the blessings we often overlook, the ability to rise each day, and the gift of salvation.
Father, we rest in your promises, open our hearts to your guidance, and trust that you who began a good work in us will carry it to completion. Let our lives be a living testimony of your grace. May every word we speak, every action we take, reflect your love. And when we falter, when we stumble, draw us back to you. For in you we will find our identity, our security, and our eternal hope.
In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ’s we pray...Amen.
Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
