Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Jeremiah 31:3, and it reads: “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

As we go through this day, let us have a deeper understanding of the significance of God's love in our daily lives. God’s love is a constant reminder of His desire to draw us near, inviting us to experience the joy of His closeness. It calls us to respond with a heart full of faith and gratitude, shaping our interactions and guiding our paths as we express that love in return.

As we pray, let us approach the Lord with steadfast confidence, fully aware of the depth of His commitment to us. His grace invites us into a relationship that is rich in devotion. Throughout the ages, the Lord has unveiled His presence, showering us with his compassion. It is with everlasting love that he is reaching out to us. He wants to draw us closer and cover us with his lovingkindness.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our King of kings and Lord of lords. Father, we come before you with our hearts full of gratitude for the precious gift of prayer. Thank you for reminding us that through you, Jesus Christ, we can approach your throne of grace with confidence, knowing that you hear us, see us, and love us with an everlasting love.

Lord, you are reminding us that you “have loved us with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness you have drawn us.” Help us to know that before we even knew you, you knew us. Before we could ever love you, you already loved us, cared for us, and drew us to yourself with cords of kindness. Your love is not brief; it is not based on what we do, but it is on who you are, the faithful, merciful, and unchanging God.

Father, thank you for your everlasting love, that is reassuring us that your affection is not momentary or conditional; rather, it is a consistent and enduring presence in our lives. God, your lovingkindness reminds us of your mercy and grace, for you invite us to draw nearer to you each day, to see the depth of your faith.

God, help us connect with you, draw us into a relationship marked by love and support. Help us embrace the love you offer and recognize that, even in our struggles, we are drawn to you by your kind and compassionate heart.

Father, help us to honor your love, for you are the firm foundation on which we should build our lives. When the world around us shakes, when our own emotions overwhelm us, or when the path before us is unclear, help us to cling to the solid rock of your goodness. Thank you for never changing. Thank you for reminding us that you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.

Lord, teach us to honor you not only during these moments of prayer, but in every aspect of our daily lives. Whether we are at home, at work, at school, or gathered in worship, let our words, actions, and thoughts bring glory to you. Help us to remember that worship is not confined to special gatherings; it is a way of living, a daily offering of our hearts to you. Father, help us to lay down our worries, our regrets, and our uncertainties at your feet. Remove fears, anxieties, and burdens that weigh us down. So, we will not hold on to anything you have already told us to release.

Lord, fill our hearts with your perfect peace. Let your spirit remind us that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. May our hearts overflow with your love, so that it spills into every conversation we have, every interaction we take, and every relationship we support. Lord, let others see the reflection of you in us, not because of our own strength, but because of the transforming power of your grace that is working within us.

Father, remember those who are hurting today. Remind them of your presence. Grant them rest, and surround them with your comfort. Strengthen our Pastors, our Leaders, and all those who are praying and surrendering to you. Let us never grow weary of doing good, and encourage us to lift our voices in praise to you.

Father, even as we honor you with our prayer and our worship, let us never forget that you have loved us with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness you have drawn us.” Give us the courage to follow you even when it is difficult, and to choose righteousness even when the world pressures us otherwise.

Lord, as we prepare to close this time of prayer, help us to always reflect on the promise of your everlasting love. As we go through this day, help us to honor you, love you, and look forward to the day when we will worship you face to face, with eternal joy.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray...Amen.

Everyone. Have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
