Welcome to another episode of the EBC’s Prayer Podcast. Our scripture will be taken from Zechariah 10:1, and it reads: “Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.

The Lord promises to bless us in our later days. As we pray, let us seek the Lord’s favor and request rain during each season of life, for it is during these times that our supplies are abundant. The Lord promises to bestow showers of rain upon the earth. This blessing will bring green grass in the fields, ensuring that all living things can find food and flourish.

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Savior. Father, thank you for another moment to pray and for the countless blessings you are pouring into our lives. We come before you with grateful hearts, lifting our voices in praise, in reverence, and in deep longing for your presence. You are the Creator of all, the giver of life, and the sovereign God who governs the heavens and the earth with vast wisdom.

Lord, thank you for reminding us to “Ask you, Lord, for rain in the time of the latter rain. You will make flashing clouds; you will give us showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone. Father, we are praying not only for the physical rain that nourishes the earth, but for the spiritual rain, the refreshing of your Spirit upon our lives, upon our families, our communities, and our nations.

Lord, many of us are weary, dry, and thirsty. Some of us are going through wilderness seasons, where the soil of our hearts feels barren. But we know that just as you send rain on parched land, you will also send revival to souls that hunger and thirst for you.

Lord, we are lifting our hands and opening our hearts to you, praying for the outpouring of the latter rain of your spirit. Refresh our hearts, renew our spirits, and awaken the hungry of our souls.

Father, you promised that with the showers of rain, there would be grass in the field for everyone, that provision would not be lacking, and that every need would be met. Lord, we are clinging to this promise. You see those who are struggling, those who are anxious, and those whose hearts feel heavy. Lord, let the rain of your blessing fall. Bring provision where there is lack, bring healing where there is pain, and bring peace where there is turmoil.

Lord, we are praying for our families. May the rain of your spirit soften our hearts, uplift our spirits, give us a mind that will serve you wholeheartedly, restore broken relationships, and heal physical wounds. Lord, may our children find security in your love, and our parents find wisdom in your guidance. May marriages be renewed, friendships strengthened, and communities knit together by the bond of your spirit.

Lord, remember your churches and your church leaders. Clothe us in purity, humility, and love. Let the latter rain fall upon every congregation, that there would be revival in our midst, a deep transformation where lives will be surrendered fully to you, where your word is treasured, and where your presence is our highest joy.

Lord, cover the world under your blood. You see nations that are in chaos and lands that are suffering from drought. We are praying for your mercy to be poured out. Send rain where there is famine. Send comfort where there is war. Send hope where despair has taken root. Lord, may your presence be known in every corner of this earth, and may everyone turn their faces toward you and live.

Father, we also bring before you the hidden prayers and the deep wants. You see everything. Lord, let your rain touch these hidden places, let your spirit bring peace to our souls, and let your love assure us that we are never forgotten, never forsaken, but always held in your hands.

Lord, thank you for being faithful to every promise. You said you would live among us, and you have. You said you would send rain, and you do. You said you would give grass to everyone, and you provide. Help us to remember, even in the dry times, that the clouds are forming, that the rain is on its way, and that you are faithful to send it in its due season.

Lord, we are lifting our hearts in gratitude and faithfulness. We are praying with joy because you are with us and sending rain in season and out of season.

We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Lord, and our soon coming King…Amen.

Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
