Welcome to another episode of the EBC's Prayer Podcast. Our prayer will be aligned with the scripture taken from Mark 11:24, and it reads: “I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
The Lord is encouraging us to believe, reach out to him, and have faith when we pray; the answers will come.
As we pray, let us believe that whatever we seek in our prayers and hold steadfastly as already received, we will receive it. For when we embrace this faith, we will see the Lord's manifestation in our lives.
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father. Our Lord, God, and Gracious Savior. Father, we come before you with humble hearts and open spirits, acknowledging that you are holy, faithful, and full of mercy. Thank you for inviting us into your presence, not as strangers, but as your children. Thank you for listening when we pray and being attentive to every word.
Lord, thank you for reminding us that whatever we ask in prayer, if we believe, we will receive it. We hold tightly to this promise. Help us not to rely on our own strength or understanding, but on the truth of who you are. You are a God who cannot lie, a God who keeps His promises, and a God whose love never fails.
Father, help us to pray with a living faith. Teach us to trust you fully, even when circumstances try to convince us otherwise. When doubt begins to creep in, gently remind us of your past faithfulness. Remind us of every time you made a way where there seemed to be none, every time you healed what was broken, restored what was lost, and brought light into dark places. Let those memories strengthen our belief.
Lord, we are praying for the desires of our hearts. You know what we are asking for, even before we speak it. Some of us are praying for healing in our bodies, peace in our minds, and rest in our souls. Some are praying for restoration in relationships, guidance in difficult decisions, provision in times of need, and clarity in moments of confusion. Father, to meet us where we are and to work according to your perfect will.
Help us to believe that when we pray, you are already moving. Even when we cannot see immediate change, help us to trust that you are working behind the scenes. Strengthen our faith so that we do not give up, grow weary, or lose hope. Teach us to wait with confidence, knowing that your timing is always perfect and your ways are always good.
Lord, increase our faith so that we may live boldly, pray confidently, and faithfully. Strengthen us so that when challenges come, we will not be moved. Plant within us the unshakable trust that even in the valley, you are with us; even in the storm, you are our shelter; and even in uncertainty, you remain our firm foundation.
Lord, purify our hearts as we pray. Remove any fear, pride, or bitterness that may hinder our faith. Align our desires with your will, so that what we ask for will glorify your name and bring growth to our lives. Teach us to pray not only for what we want, but for who you are. Shape our prayers so we can reflect your love, your wisdom, and your compassion.
Father, help us to pray with expectation. Let our prayers be filled with confidence, not desperation. Let us pray knowing that you hear us, that you care deeply, and that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine. Teach us to thank you in advance for the answers, even before they arrive, because faith believes and gratitude follows.
Lord, for those who feel discouraged today, breathe fresh hope into their hearts. For those who feel weak, be their strength. For those who feel uncertain, be their peace. Remind us that we do not pray alone, but that your spirit intercedes for us and walks with us through every season of life.
Lord, thank you for the blessings we see and for the blessings we cannot yet see. We thank you for answered prayers in the past, which remind us that you are faithful, and we thank you in advance for the answers that are still to come. Lord, fill us with gratitude that overflows, so that even in waiting, we can rejoice; even in trials, we can praise; and even in weakness, we can declare that your strength is made perfect in us.
Father, we dedicate our lives, our families, our work, and our future into your hands. We ask for your guidance in every decision, your protection over every step, and your wisdom in every circumstance. May our lives reflect your glory and point others to your unfailing love. We choose today to believe your word. We choose to trust your promises. We choose to pray with faith, knowing that you are faithful to respond in love, wisdom, and power. Help us to live each day with hearts anchored in belief, voices lifted in prayer, and lives surrendered to you.
Lord, thank you for hearing us. We thank you for your presence, your peace, and your unending love. We place our trust in you, now and always.
In the mighty, merciful, and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior…Amen.
Everyone. Please have a great day, and by God’s grace, we will pray again tomorrow…Bye-bye.
