July 22 – Day 203. With God, nothing is impossible

Welcome to another episode of the EBC's Prayer Podcast. As discussed in our previous episodes, our prayers will be rooted in the 66 books of the Bible. We began in Genesis and will conclude in Revelation by the end of the year. 

Today, we are delving into the book of Luke. Our scripture will be taken from Luke 1:37, and it reads: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” 

The Lord is reminding us of his limitless power and the boundless possibilities available through faith in him. No matter how difficult the challenges we face may appear, we can overcome them with our belief. 

As we pray, let us trust in the great plan and the infinite potential that comes from having faith in the Lord.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father. Our Glorious Lord, God, and Savior. Father, we come before you with humble hearts, acknowledging who you are and who we are in your presence. You are the eternal God, the creator of heaven and earth, and the one who spoke light into existence. You are not limited by time, space, strength, or understanding, for with you, nothing is impossible.

Lord, there are moments in our lives when everything feels impossible. There are situations that look hopeless, prayers that feel unanswered, and burdens that seem too heavy to carry. Yet you are reminding us that impossibility is no barrier to you. What overwhelms us does not overwhelm you. What we cannot fix, you already fix, and what we fear most is never beyond your power or your love.

Father, help us to trust you more deeply. Help us to believe not only with our words, but with our hearts and our actions, that you are able to do far more than we can imagine. When doubt arrives, remind us of your faithfulness. Remind us of the doors you have opened, the healing you have brought, and the ways you have made when there seemed to be no way forward.

Lord, you see every area of our lives that feels impossible right now. We are bringing everything before you right now. You see broken relationships that feel beyond repair. You see illnesses that weigh heavily on our hearts. You see financial stress, emotional exhaustion, and the fears we carry but rarely speak aloud. You see every detail, and you are reminding us that you care deeply about each one of us. You have the power, the wisdom, and the perfect timing to heal, deliver, and set us free.

Lord, when the journey feels long and the answers feel far, give us patience and peace. Help us to rest in the assurance that you are at work even when we cannot see it. Teach us to trust the process, knowing that you are shaping, refining, and preparing us for what is to come.

Father, we are praying for hope to rise in our hearts because of who you are. Let your presence replace our fear, and help us to release control and surrender to you, believing that your plans are good, even when they unfold differently than we expect.

Lord, we are also praying for wisdom. Show us the steps we need to take and the steps we are to release. Guide our decisions, our conversations, and our responses. Help us to listen for your voice above the noise of worry, doubt, and distraction. Give us clarity where there is confusion and courage where there is fear.

God, with you, nothing is impossible. Lord, please soften what has become hardened in our hearts, heal what has been wounded, and restore what has been lost. Teach us to forgive where forgiveness feels difficult, to love where love feels costly, and to trust where trust feels risky. Lord, you have the power to do the impossible, even when we feel weak or uncertain.

Father, we lift our loved ones to you. You know their struggles, their hopes, and their needs. Please surround us with your peace and cover us with your protection. Work in our lives in ways that draw us closer to you, and use us as vessels of encouragement, compassion, and grace.

Lord, as we leave this time of prayer, help us to know that your presence is with us throughout our day. When challenges arise, remind us that you are bigger than every obstacle. When fear tries to take hold, remind us that you are in control. When we feel like giving up, remind us that you are still working and that nothing is impossible with you. We place our trust in you, not because we have all the answers, but because you know who we are. 

Lord, thank you for hearing this prayer. Thank you for strengthening us and loving us without condition. Above all, thank you for the unshakable promise that with you, nothing shall be impossible.
